Gorky popup.description2 For preventing the decrease of work capacity of persons with monocular blindness due to eye trauma it was established the functional condition of unique seeing eye in 50 patients and 50 healthy persons of the appropriate age. For the first time the ergoophthalmoligic researches of unique seeing eye due to trauma were carried out in conditions of visual loading as well as complex estimation of parameters of various components of unique seeing eye visual fatigue and gradation of its visual fatigue. The complex of actions for increasing the functionalities of a unique seeing eye including special glasses for patients with monocular blindness (the patent of Ukraine N15157 from 30.06.97) which promote expansion of visual field of aside a blind eye is offered. As a result of using the offered actions it were improved the functional condition of unique seeing eye in 82,5% of cases of visual fatigue, expansion of visual field on 25-30° was achieved in 100% of persons with monocular blindness due to trauma, employment of such patients group is improved on 4 %.
