The aim of the scientific research work (SRW) was the development of normative documentation on different aspects of laboratory stages of manufacture of dental prostheses and orthodontic devices, and also development of classification of these devices and technological processes of its manufacturing. The methods of investigation were study of literature, information recourses of Internet and normative documentation, analysis of practical work of dental laboratories and specialists who work there, study of normative aspects of real and simulated stages of technological processes of dental laboratory manufacture. The classifications of devices of dental laboratory manufacture, laboratory stages and technological processes of its manufacturing which working out in time of fulfilling of the scientific research work have been created on the grounds of study of literature dates, normative documents of USSR, Ukraine, and Russia, information recourses of Internet, experience of practical work of dental laboratories of the Ukraine, Russia and Germany. The same information resources were used in time of fulfill of scientific research work's problems on development of qualification characteristics of dental laboratories specialists and development of requirements and criteria of estimation of levels of dental laboratories of the Ukraine. The development of norms of materials expenditure of casting's dental manufacture has been made on the grounds of analysis of big practical experience of casting manufacture of the material-conducting laboratory of the Institute of Dentistry of Academy of Medical Sciences of the Ukraine, and literature dates. The results of the scientific research work are the development of the next fragments of the draft of the department Standard of dental laboratory's manufacture: bases of dental orthopaedic and orthodontic devices classification; bases of classification of the laboratory stages and technological processes of its manufacturing; projects of the new qualification characteristics of dental laboratory specialists; requirements and criteria of estimation of the levels of dental laboratory manufactures; norms of materials expenditure and tables of equipment of casting's dental laboratory manufactures. The results of the scientific research work have been used for preparing the draft of the order of Ministry of Public Health of the Ukraine concerning norms of the expenditure of dental materials and tables of equipment dental clinics. The results of the scientific research work will be used in other State normative and department documents and practical work of Ukrainian dental institutions.
