The unit allows to obtain oxide films of a preset thickness and to determine the film density in the process of growth and heat treatment. As shown experimentally, the oxide films obtained by PTO are characterized by more perfect crystalline structure, higher adhesion to the crystal surface, higher optical transmission coefficients and thermal stability in comparison with those obtained by TO. Zinc oxide films produced by PTO are shown to be promising strong homogeneous, thermally stable antireflection coatings for ZnSe crystalline optical elements which work in a wide spectral region.
