Voltage-current characteristics of Ме-CdTe(p) surface barrier structures and the effect of deformation on these dependences were investigated. Formation technique of stable ohmic contacts to the surface of p-CdTe for a wide temperature range was developed. Models of physical processes for various phenomena, viz. low-temperature evolution of structural defects in CdS, radiation-stimulated ordering effect of semiconductor crystals and defect formation in CsI crystals doped with cation impurity were proposed.
