Risk factors of AH and its complications were determineted in slavanian and tatar populations. Analysis of medico-statistical data has shown that the morbidity connected with arterial hypertension (AH) and AH-associated ischemic heart disease (IHD) and cerebral pathology (CCP) increased in Ukraine, as a whole, and in AR Crimea during a period of 1996-2001 years., especially from 1998 to 2001 years. The AH and IHD- and CCP-associated AH prevalence was significantly higher in people of the retirement age.
