Separate chapters of the proposed outline have been written sinse have been published as Prof K.F. German''s monograph Ukrainski hovirky Pivnichnoui Bykovyny (Ukrainian Patois of the Nothern Bykovyna), and 64 articles of the team working on the topic. The findings also have been published at different national conferences, in particular The Language in Bukovyna : Its Past and Persent. The abstracts of the conference have been published (Chernivtsi 1998). The research reveals the indigenousness of the Ukrainian population in Bukovyna and common Ukrainian tendecies of the linguistic development in the region.
