Research aim: Ukrainian printing industry environmental concept basis elaboration; working-out of systematic foot for scientific methodology and information basis of branch environmental programme. Research method: Ukrainian, other developed states' environmental legislation research and analysis,using international standarts of ISO 14000 series, technological schedules, technical documents, legislative and technical issues, physico-chemical methods of qualitative defining of some pollutants in the air and water, statistic analisys methods for assessing the measurement results. Printing industry' technological processes are considered to be substantial environmental pollution sources because of various kinds of emissions. The main domestic printing industry environmental policy tasks taking into account the state and world environmental policy trends have been formulated. Informative computer database "Printing industry' pollution factors" based on the analysis of more then 2000 technological operations has been formed. Basic approaches for environmental essessment indicators' choice of enterprise functioning have been analysed. Branch methodologic documents for printing enterprise activity environmental assessment has been worked out. Emissions to air and water that occous during the use in technological processes of some new printing materials have been quantitively stated. Researсh work results are planned to use for methodologic help to printing enterprises in their solving of urgent and strategic questions of printing industry' ecologisation. Prognosis suppositions concening the research objective: elaborated database further completing, methodological approaches' advancing for the solving of certain problems inthe field of printing production ecologisation.
