The object of the research is the sample survey of population economic activity in Ukraine. The subjects of the researches are procedures of indicators estimation, sources of the auxiliary information for estimation, sample data, and statistical weights. The basic purposes of the research are: - Studying existing methodological approaches to complex use of the data from different sources of the information for small area parameters estimation; - The analysis of the existing information from auxiliary sources for increase of reliability level of statistics estimation on regional level; - Developments of methodological bases of statistics estimation at the regional level with use the auxiliary information; - The analysis of statistical weights at the regional level and completion of a technique and technology of calculation of weights; - Development of methodological approaches to processing the missed values and estimation of parameters quality behind the sample data at the regional level. The methods of the research are: scientific generalization, system analysis, mathematics and statistics methods, programming. In the report are the basic results of scientific-research work's executed in the year 2002 which accord to the planned schedule of works. The results of scientific-research works are on the stage of processing and approbation in the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.
