Objectire: To determine conditions promoting formation of functional fit lower extremity stump, analyzing the main tissue disorders and viability deterioration in the remained proximal part following distal part cutting off. To develop principal plastic measures assisting formation of optimum conditions for adaptation course and reparation process and strum formation which interacts with the prosthesis. To study occurrence and course character of local painful syndrome in lower extremity stump. Methods: History-archival, clinical, clinicophysiological, roentgenograrhical, laboratory-biochemical and mathematic simulation method. Theoretical and practical results: for the first time necessity to close firmly medullar canal has been deterenined, painful syndrome classification has been made, new previously unknown nosologic forms have been described, a number of methods related amputation stump surgical plasty has been developed. To be used: medicosocial expert commission, treatment-and-prophylactic institutions, rehabilitation institutes, orthopedics and traumatology departments.
