Studies of the viscoelastic behavior of both series of nanocomposites in the melt state revealed the formation of a continuous network of nanoparticles (infinite cluster) at the extremely low filler content (4-5 %). These experimental observations were explained by a model assuming that a non-negligible portion of polymer chains in the melt state would be anchored by each end to the available absorption-active sites of two different neighboring nanoparticles. Presumably, during subsequent cooling a simultaneous lamellar growth at fixed positions of the same chains on adjacent nanoparticles would end up not only by a considerable extension of tie-chains but also by a concomitant fall of the local packing density in the interlamellar space.5635 Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
