The territory of the Carpathian region is recognized to have a high concentration of alluminium,quite distinguished deficit of iodine, and low concentration of fluorine in comparison to the flat country. In the biotopes with the high alluminium mobility level the low concentration of selenium is determined throughout every layer of biogeochemical chain: soil- plant- animal. The specific features of the cycles of the elements under investigation in the Carpathian region are proven by means of the comparative analysis of the Austrisn Alps, conducted both in the natural conditions and in the artificially modelled ecosystems - microcosms.
