M.I.Sitenko popup.description2 It is statistically reliable that in oldster patients with spinal osteohondrosis plastic structural deformations like scoliosis and degenerative spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis, spopndyloarthrosis, disc herniation and protrusions, spinal segments instability are occurring more often then in youngsters. There is a great difference in morphologic changes of spinal tissue, in metabolism of cartilaginous and bone connective tissue and in immunologic condition and reactions. On basis of our own investigations and literature data we developed a conceptual model of the pathogenesis and the sanogenesis of degenerative spinal diseases in oldster patients and a classification of degenerative spinal diseases. On basis of mathematical and experimental modeling we grounded the advisability of artificial fibrotisation of dorsal ligaments for elimination of the spinal segments instability.Also we developed new diagnostic and treatment methods for treatment of degenerative spinal diseases which allow to improve thequality of diagnostic and the effectiveness of treatment of oldster patients.
