Temperature dependences of some actual energy extrema and the principal interband transitions in 3C-, 2H-, 4H- and 6H-SiC have been calculated by the empirical pseudopotential method. The thermodynamic properties, electroconductivity, the Hall-coefficient, thermal-heat capacity of some materials in which transition and rare-earth elements have unusual nonstable valency have been carried out.
