Objective - development and practical approbation of technique of environmental high-sensitive dosimetry using of high-sensitive phosphor on the base of Al2O3:C. Method - thermoluminescence of crystals. The effects of influence of gamma and light radiation of different nature on dosimetric signal in Al2O3:С have been studied. The values of threshold sensitivity of Al2O3:С dosimeters have been established. The technique of Al2O3:С dosimeter application for purposes of archeological dating has been proposed. This technique is based on using of modern thermoluminescent rider HARSHAW-3500. The technique was tested on territories of Peloponnesus (Greece) where gamma-components of archeological dose where determined for 16 places using Al2O3:С dosimeters. Results obtained by Greek and Ukrainian researchers coincide in average within 1%.
