On this basis, the subjects of excursion method, its structural elements, analysis and classification of excursions are worked out. The detailed scientifically substantiated methodology of developing the excursion subject and methodological principles of excursions are given. Analysis of main directions of developing the excursion activity in Ukraine is completed. The methodological principles of developing the National System of Tourist-Excursion Routes, which fully presents the historic-cultural potential of Ukraine during tourist travels and excursions, as well as its main contextual directions, are defined. №2 Concept for creating student hotels in Ukraine is aimed at improvement and increasing effectiveness of functioning the tourist industry by means of target organizational transformations of certain segments, typification of hotel elements considering their functions, and implementation of unified technologies for hotel services with differentiated standards of their volumes and quality. Concept is based on the Constitution of Ukraine, and is developed in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On adding changes to the Law of Ukraine "On Tourism", State program of tourism development on 2002-2010, Chart on Tourism, Global ethic code of tourism, conventions and recommendations of World Tourism Organization, and other documents. Concept is a program document, which defines the state policy in the sphere of hotel business. It is the main, leading document for the activity of all organizations, organs, structures and bodies, which organize and realize activities in tourist sphere. №3 This scientific report presents the Concept and measures on realization of the state policy of Ukraine for developing the youth tourism. The measures developed include the state support of organization of tourist-recreational and excursion work with children, teenagers and youth up to the year 2010. The Concept developed includes the realization of the complex of tasks on priority directions of stimulating the development of social-economic and cultural problems of youth, activization of the activity of tourist enterprises of various forms of ownership, which will be favorable to the development of investment processes. №4 This scientific report present the variant of annual report on the state of tourism development in Ukraine. The report includes results of the following analysis: role of tourist industry in social and economic spheres; tendencies and state of world tourism development; state of the implementation of the State Program For Tourism Development For 2002-2010; state of legal regulation of the branch; state and perspectives of development of tourism infrastructure, services, marketing and advertising activities; legal, scientific and personnel maintenance of tourist activity. Within this project, great attention is paid to the development of tourism in various regions of Ukraine, as well as to problem questions of activity of tourist services market's subjects. №5 This scientific-research work included developing the following documents - "Statute on Placement Means in Ukraine", "Requirements to Placement Means and Rooms of Different Categories", and "Appraisal Methodology of the Correspondence of Placement Means and Rooms of Different Categories". The analysis of general legal basis of Ukraine and its elements is completed, possibilities of further adaptation of the legal field with respect to the tendencies of world economy transformation, its globalization and integration followed by the intensive growth of tourist sphere are investigated. As the result of work completed, the normative indicators were developed, which set the unified terminology, principles of functioning, typology and classification of placement means, unified criteria of requirements as for material-technical base and quality of services, as well as the methodology of their appraisal.
