Purpose of research was scientific ground and development of the optimized model of the specialized medical examination of the population of Ukraine, norms and standards of activity of the specialized service of medical-social examination. Research was fulfilled using modern social-hygienic methods. On the basis of detailed study and estimation of epidemiology situation in disability by the main invalidizing diseases, disability from childhood, fact loading and types of activity of specialized MSEC and their doctors, the basic elements of financial-economic mechanisms of management at MSEC it had been scientifically grounded and developed firstly proposals on activity optimizations and standards of organization, structures and functioning of specialized MSECs, which contain optimum norms and model of final results of their activity, proposals on optimization of service and rehabilitation of children-invalids, financial-economic mechanism of management at MSEC. Inculcation was done at governmental level in monographs, scientific manuals, methodical recommendations, innovations, articles, abstracts, papers at conferences, etc. The obtained results have an effect scientific, social, economic; they can be used by Ukrainian Ministry of Health Care and Departments of Health Care of local governments at planning of specialized MSEC network creation, for estimation of final results and quality their activity, reformation of service of medical-social examination.
