In this study the use of remote sensing data for mapping anthropogenic soil salinity is examined. Bugrevatovskoe oil deposit in Sumy oblast of Ukraine was chosen as an area of research. The areas of soil salinity were classified by degree of salinization and possibility of remote sensing detection on the base of field researches. The electronic maps of some key areas were created in program ArcGIS formats. The test tasks were decided using tools of ERDAS Imagine for processing of program model.
