The purpose: increasing the efficacy of the radioiodine therapy in patients with the differentiated thyroid cancer by means of development of the methods of the calculation the threshold ablation 131I activities and the quantitative evaluation of the thyroid stunning. Methods of research: scintigraphy, mathematical, laboratory, statistical. The equipment: gamma-cameras “MB 9200”, ”E.CAM”. The effects of thyroid stunning and methods of its corrections, optimal values of first therapeutic activities of 131І in children were analysed. The method of calculation of the ablative 131І activity with provision for the thyroid stunning was developed. Side effects of the radioiodine therapy and its prophylactics were evaluated.
