The aim of the project is optical techniques investigation of OH groups and other point defects in LiNbO3, CdWO4 та CaWO4 single crystals. The influence of ionising radiation, namely elctron beam and gamma rays, on lithium niobate optical properties have been studied. The influence of high temperature (400-600 C) annealings of lithium niobate in hydrogen, air as well as in vacuum in the presence of crystal forming componetnts (Li2CO3 or Nb2O5) on crystal optical properties have been studied. The influence of high temperature (400-1200 C) annealings of calcium and cadmium tugstates in nitrogen, hydrogen, air as well as in vacuum on crystal optical properties have been studied. The results of this SRW can be used as reccomendations for development of industrial technologies of LiNbO3, CdWO4 and CaWO4 crystals growth, as well as for evaluation of radiation and termal stability of their optical properties.
