A new parameter for corrosion fatigue assessment is proposed that is some characteristic stress within loading cycle. A model and criterion of corrosion fatigue crack nucleation is proposed. An analytic expression for determining of surface crack nucleation period is derived. Period of corrosion fatigue crack nucleation in pipelines walls with steels 12X1МФ and 08Х18Н12Т is calculated under action of aqueous environments with different values of pH.
