The materials of type of martensite-ageing and dispersion-hardening steels for surfacing of heavy-loaded punch tool for hot and cold processing by pressure are developed. New materials provide obtaining of surfaced metal which has significant effect of secondary hardening: 28...32 HRC after surfacing and 49...52 HRC after ageing. Surfaced metal of these types has higher impact strength in comparison with known tool steels, that will allow to use new surfacing materials for restoration of heavy loaded tools for hot and cold deformation of metal.
