The causative agent of the disease - Actinobacillus lignieresii was isolated and studied, diagnosis of the disease was improved, methodical recommendations on diagnosis of actinobacillosis were developed, 17 patents were issued for vaccine strains of microorganisms. For the first time in Ukraine the technology of manufacture and check of associated inactivated concentrated vaccine "ACTINOSAN" - for prophylaxis of actinobacillosis was developed, ND was approved, certificate of registration and license to manufacture were obtained. 80000 vaccine doses were introduced, health - improvement measures were taken at 19 farms. High prophylactic and therapeutic efficacy of the vaccine was shown. Economic effect of this scientific development introduction is more than Hr 1 mln.
