It is shown that organic-mineral and mineral binding agents based on liquid silicates and modifying agents enable to obtain the pressed composites with enhanced performance namely with high water resistance, high values of strength and low level of toxicity. The composite compositions and the processing regimes of pressed materials based on liquid silicates and modifying agents which provide their enhanced characteristics are elaborated.
