In the scientific report were analysed the current state and organizational problems in Ukrainian energy balances' elaboration and forecasting. Was examined the existing practice of date assembling and date processing for national energy statistics. The international experience in methodological and organizational provision of energy balances was generalized in the report. Were elaborated the recommendations on elaboration and improvement of energy statistics reported by Ukrainian enterprizes. The unified scheme of elaboration, economic analysis and forecasting of the national energy balance was proposed. Was broaden the theoretical and methodological basis in elaboration of the national energy and fuel-and-energy balances according to the principles of integrity, harmonization and international requirements.
