Potebnja Institute of Linguistics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 During January 2001 - December 2005 Department of Russian Language investigated interrelation of Russian and Ukrainian cultural systems connected with their language arsenal. Specifically scientific investigation elucidates the peculiarity of the cross-cultural communication in idiostyle of individual writer, poet, scientist and the realization of the author's intentions by means of use the national cultural potential of the borrowed units which are functioning in literary (memoirs, poetical) and scientific discourse. The research was carried in direction which included the consideration of semantic structure (its peculiarities) and functional stylistics of Ukrainian culturemes which had been fixed in pointed out Russian literary texts. The obtained results of research are conceptually important for understanding of profound historical and cultural process that had a great influence on development of related language systems. The research was also carried in writing articles and papers for presentation at the international and All-Ukraine congresses and conferences. Within the fulfillment of the project 45 articles concerning the investigated problem were published, 3 of them in the foreign editions.
