The investigation aim is to consolidate the created Ukrainian Red Dairy breed and to breed the Southern type of the Ukrainian Black-Spotted Dairy breed. The investigation methods are zootechnical. The Ukrainian Red Dairy breed with productivity 6,755 kg of milk containing 3.84% of fat and live mass of cows 515 kg has been approbated. 939 cows with yield 5,123 kg of milk with fatness 3.81% and live mass 500 kg have been chosen to the selection main body of the zone Taurian type. Level of phenotypic consolidation of the new type makes averagely up -0.704 to 0.829. 628 cows with milk yield 5,129 kg have been chosen to the selection body of the Southern type of the Ukrainian Black-Spotted Dairy breed.
