The purpose of work is study and systematization of the low specific resistance reasons of oil and gas saturated reservoir rocks, establishment of their distribution areas in productive complexes. The research methods - geophysical (laboratory petrophysical - the determination of capacity-filtration, acoustic and electrical properties, the well logging data interpretation); investigation of material composition and properties of the rocks and organic matter - granulometrical, petrographical and luminecsent-petrographical as well as mineralogical methods (scanning electron microscopy, X-ray structural analysis), lithogeochemical (petrochemical, semiquantitative atom-emission, X-ray spectral, laser-fluorescent, the determination of ion-change ability of rocks, chemical-bituminological, IR-spectropho-tometrical); the revealing of rock formation conditions; statistic treatment. On the material of 63 DDD fields and 17 Pre-Carpathians Foredeep fields based on synthesizing of existing published and fond data, systematization and analysis of well logging data and production test results the diagnostics of low-resistivity productive pays was verified, and the pays were marked out; the low-resistivity reservoirs distribution areas and frequency of their display in productive complexes established. On the basis of integral investigations the features of material composition, pore space structure and several physical and physiochemical properties of the low-resistivity reservoirs. specified. On example of various DDD fields the quantitative differences of petrophysical models of low-resistivity productive horizons set. The physiochemical models of low-resistivity reservoirs elaborated. Lithology-mineralogical reasons of the reservoirs specific resistance decreasing systematized, their association in geological sections studied. The results of investigations are recommended for planning and employment in the oil and gas exploration.
