Bacterioplankton distribution directly correlated with ammonium nitrogen gradient. Water and bottom sediment samples of upper ponds were highly toxic to test-organisms (daphnia, guppy) and exhibited genotoxic effect on apical meristem of onion bulb roots. Intake of nitrogen compounds into fish-breeding pools leaded to indirect (owing to activation of autotrophic chain of ecosystem) benefit effect on formation and growth of reproduction organs and higher indexes of linear and weight growth. Adaptation to increased nitrogen concentration is directed to accumulation and utilization of macroergic compounds toward glycogen formation affecting biosynthetic processes in autumn period. It is manifested as well by increasing of spleen and decreasing of liver indexes giving evidenceof macroergic compounds deficiency. Adverse effect of exceeding concentrations of nitrogen compounds (ten times as large as MPC) show itself especially in winter period in abrupt decreasing body weight and survival.
