Calculation and experimental studies of the working process parameters and characteristics of improved construction elements of energy installations are carried out. Experimental prototypes of technological equipment, which are used in testing the air-stream mills, ignition devices, as well as production prototypes of air heaters for metal drying are created. The technological scheme with using the rectangular hearth grates is developed for coal burning with gasdynamic unloading of slag. Research results of technological equipment were used in testing the air-stream mill in the ITM, in ignition devices in the SDB "Juzhnoe", in the technological line for chalk drying in Novgorod-Seversky integrated building materials works.
