Work objective: to determine the influence of the joint-stock form of economic management on development of the investment process in Ukraine. It is ascertained that the major exogenous factors of the influence on investment and innovation opportunities of the corporate sector of the economy include: availability of a strategic concept of country's development on the basis of an innovation model and its implementation based on pursuance of an appropriate public innovation policy; completeness and perfection of the legislative base as a whole and of legislation concerning innovation activities; an economic climate favorable for innovation activities, a demand for innovations; availability of infrastructure institutions and skilled experts providing necessary business services, information about scientific and technological attainments and markets. Based on an analysis of the Ukrainian already formed condition-creating factors for development of innovation activities of the domestic joint-stock companies, we identified shortcomings and formulated promising lines of improving conditions for performance of innovation activities.
