Information × Registration Number 0206U009066, 0103U008506 , R & D reports Title Development of methods of vibtation state diagnostics and residual life prediction of highly louded structural elemenrs of machines with modeling of their actual louding and accounting for possible damages popup.stage_title Head Matveev Valentin, Registration Date 21-12-2006 Organization Institute for problems of strength NASci of Ukraine popup.description2 Based on a set of experimental, numerical and analytical investigations as applied to the development of methods for the diagnostics of the vibration state and prediction of the exhaustion of the remaining life of highly louded structural elements of machines including modeling of the applied load and consideration of possible damages, the following main results have been obtained: unique methods have been devised for physical modeling of real thermal and stress states in the most ctitical zone of a body from materials of various classes; it is shown that with the use of the proposed method for the prediction of long-term strength of metallic materials on the basis of the modified method of base diagrams it can be evaluated more accurately than with the use of the known parametric methods of Larson-Miller, Manson-Haferd and Orr-Sherby-Dorn; based on the analysis of the results of investigations of resonant , sub- and superresonant vibration of rod elements and life-size GTE compressor blades,the possibility of an efficient use of the nonlinear effects and damping characteristics has been demonstrated for vibration diagnostics of fatigue crack-type damages at the earliest stages of its initiation; an express-method has been developed, which allows prediction of dynamic stability of blade assemblies to subsonic cascade flutter at an early stage of GTE designing and operational development. The research and development results are introduced into production technologies and are used in the prediction of state of structural elements of modern power and transport machines.
