The subjects of the study were organizations of Ukraine carrying out individual dosimetric and radiation-hygienic monitoring of the personnel and inhabitants. The main goal was to elaborate scientific grounds for establishment of the united national dosimetric monitoring system in Ukraine. Methods: statistical, dosimetric, analytical. Results: proposed is establishment of the United national system for control and registration of individual doses including network of measuring laboratories, central dosimetry service, information storage infrastructure as well as national registry of individual doses. Proposed system can be used as an importatnt source of objective and reliable information on exposure for radiaiton protection optimization and epidemiological studies. Implementation is a draft of departmental instruction on individual dosimetry control, a draft of interdepartmental instruction on keeping and maintenance of national dosimetric registry, and a draft of a joint Health Ministry and AMS order about establishment of the central dosimetry service.
