The aim of the study was the methodical approaches ground to the toxicological assessment and hygienic standardization of anti-diabetic compounds in occupational and environmental areas. Research methods were chemical, toxicological, biochemical, biophysical, physiological, immunological and histological. We had been studied the particularities of toxic impact of Phensucсinal and Diacamph in the inhalation exposure dynamics and of Gliclasid under dermal and oral administration and acute inhalation. It had been found that one of the main processes in these compounds toxicogenesis mechanisms were the changes of oxidative and antioxidative balance and non-specific resistance, which were used as adequate criteria with the identification of threshold levels and of hygienic regulations anti-diabetic drugs in the different environments.
