The technological conditions of the growth of Li6Gd1-x Yx(BO3)3:Eu3+ by the Czochralski method are optimized. For the first time SrB4O7:Eu2+ single crystals are grown. The physico-mechanical characteristics of these crystals are investigated. The nature of radiation-induced defect formation in Li6Gd1-x Yx(BO3)3:Eu3+ and SrB4O7:Eu2+ crystals is established, the models of radiation defects in these crystals are proposed.
