Studied is the influence of the methods of introduction of the activator and co-activator on the coefficients of Nd3+ and Yb3+ distribution in the crystals. Developed are the techniques for growing PbWO4 with 2 mass % of Nd3+ and 0.52 mass % of Yb3+ and PbMo4 with 3 mass % of Nd3+ and 0.52 mass % of Yb3+ by the Czochralsky method. It is shown that the introduction of BaF2 raises the light output of PbWO4 by 20 %. The radiation resistance of PbWO4:BaF2 is on the same level with that of undoped PbWO4 crystals. For PbWO4:F crystals the coefficient of induced absorption is by an order of magnitude lower in comparison with PbWO4 and PbWO4:BaF2 crystals at the same irradiation dose.56355635 Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
