The aim is to study the role of VP in the formation of general and local resistance of the epithelium of OMM to the pathogenic stomatotropic factors. The investigation was held with 203 white rats. The laboratorial technology of getting of flavone glycoside of wheat leaves (FGW) was worked out. The alimentary deficiency of PP in rats caused the reduction of the level of mitoses of epithelial cells and impairment of their differentiation in prickle layer. The genotoxicant fluorouracil under the conditions of polyphenol deficiency produced inflammatory and destructive changes in mucous membrane of cheek with prevailing destructive component, as well as the decrease in the functional activity of epithelial cells. FGW and quercethin at the influence of fluorouracil and norphloxathin have revealed the substitutive protective effects: they impede considerably the development of morphological and biochemical disorders in oral tissues. The combined influence of the toxicant chloroquine and chronic EPS simultaneous to the polyphenol deficiency caused the focal injuries of the epithelial tegument of OMM like hydropic degeneration. Altane at this has reduced the injuries of OMM, preventing the lowering of the level of epithelial cells' proliferation. During behavioral tests with rats the preparation of FGW has shown the antianxious activity. The findings speak of the considerable physiological role of alimentary vegetative PP in provision with general and local resistance to the pathogenic factors.
