The general purposes of work are development of methodological principles and bases as well as methodical maintenance for effective estimation of social, economic and demographic development indicators at the regional level on the basis of modern achievements of statistical methodology. The basic results of works, carried out in 2003–2006 according to the planned schedule, are shown.
