Krymskyi Institute of Oriental Studies of NAS of Ukraine, Crimean Branch popup.description2 The research work has been performed in two assignments: "The Crimean confessional communities and organizations in XVIII-XXI centuries: history of their origin, activities and historical experience of interrelations" and "The inter-confessional and inter-ethnic relations in Crimea: modern problems and ways of tolerance formation among peninsular population" in the framework of the general set of problems, posed by the Ukrainian National Academy of Science: "The social, political and cultural transformations of the Ukrainian society: historical preconditions, tendencies and predictions". The aim of this research work was the analysis of the inter-national and inter-confessional relations on the peninsula in historical retrospective review and at the modern stage, recommendations development for the practical activities. The most significant results of the researches include the collected articles, in particular "Inter-ethnic relations in Crimea: in search of paths of early conflict prevention: Collection of researches, documents and materials" under edition of M.A. Aradzhyoni (Simferopol: SONAT, 2005.- 612 p.) Besides twenty seven articles, reports and abstracts of the leading researchers has been published in scientific journals in Ukraine, Russia, Greece, Germany, Israel and the USA.
