The purpose of research: to estimate for economy of Ukraine opportunities and consequences of increase wages in medium-term prospect in view of existing tendencies dynamics efficiency of work under condition of different scenarios socio-economic development; to analyse dynamics and hierarchical structure motivation of labour activity and rise the efficiency of work. Methods of research: the system analysis, sociological public opinion poll, economic-mathematical simulation, the logical-theotetic, comparative and factorial analysis, forecasting. The conception is proved in the issue, deals with the effective social and economic development of the country probably only on the basis of long-term strategy. It provides the equation of social and economic parameters of economy. It is argued, that efficiency of work and a level of its payment depends on the conditions inherenting in each stage of social and economic development. The detailed factorial analysis of a level of importance of labour values and the rating analysis of population's basic motives is lead.
