Research object is Black Sea mussel (Mytilus galloprovincialis Lamarck). Research results are as follows: new data have been obtained on ecological regularlities of mussel reproduction in different areas of the Black Sea. Regularities of abundance dymanics and biomass of mollusks were revealed, as well as mechanisms of the yield formation of collectors of different types. The instructions were developed on mussel culture in the most promising areas of the Black Sea. Characteristics of adequate marine constructions, recommendations on their erection, installation in the sea and their service were given. Biological normatives of mussel culture in the above areas were developed, standard pattern of the coastal ground and technological equipment for mussel protection was proposed.
