Two new classes of highly-active and selective CK2 inhibitors - 3-carboxy-4-(1H) quinolones and tetrahalogeno-1,3-dioxo-2,3-dihydroisoindoles were identified. Revealed, that finded inhibitors are ATP competitive. Evaluation of the inhibitors on other serine/threonine and tyrosine kinases shows their considerable selectivity toward CK2.
