Crystallization and strengthening of the alloys during devitrification was studied. Stages of crystallization of the mentioned alloys were determined. Alteration of hardness of Al87Ni9Ce3Fe1 alloy due to its partial crystallization was studied. It was shown that its strength grows from 336 upto 542 kg/mm2. The same hardness increase was observed in amorphous alloys of AlXNi9Ce3Fe1 system when aluminum content X decreases from 97 down to 47 percent. That allows conclusion that strengthening of amorphous-nanocrystalline composites takes place first of all due to change of chemical composition of remaining amorphous matrix.
