Aim of the work: examination of the blood supply in the sexual organs and the state of the pituitary sex system using the functional tests in men with diabetes mellitus and sexual dysfunctions; determination of their role in pathogenesis of sexual dysfunction and the development of the pathogenetically substantiated therapeutic and prophylactic methods of treatment. Methods and apparatus: doppler ultrasonography, ultrasonography and radionuclide angiography; radioimmunological; ultrasonograph, tomographic gamma-chamber, counter of ?-radioactivity. Results and their novelty: a decrease in the penial blood filling of men with diabetes mellitus and erectile dysfunction, and ensuring of the diagnosis of vascular disorders at the early stages of their development by radionuclide angiography with intracavernous injection of vasoactive preparation were established. Testosterone deficient state for the determination of the optimum therapeutical method requiring the functional tests was established in the part of patients.
