Aim of the study: to estimate the radionuclide indices of functional state of liver and gall bladder, kidneys and their blood supply, as well as radionuclide indices of cerebral circulation in patients with NIDDMwMS; to determine the possible relationship between these indices and presence of hyperinsulinemia, and content of certain contrainsular hormones. Methods of study: Radionuclide investigations of organs' functional state were carried out on a scintillation tomographic gamma-camera "GKS301 T" (Ukraine). Results and their novelty: In patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus there was evidence of marked disturbances of excretory function of hepatic parenchymal cells, of concentration and motor function of gall bladder, hypotonia of Oddi sphincter. In patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus the time of cerebral blood flowwas increased - mainly at the expense of changes in the functional state of micro-circulation system vessels. The excretory function of kidneys depends on disease duration: the longer is diabetes duration, the more delayed is the excretory function of kidneys. In patients with metabolic syndrome kidney function significantly differs from the indices in the control group and group of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with a disease duration of 3.29 + 0.36 years. The novelty of these investigations consists in the ascertainment of functional disturbances of internal organs - formerly unknown - in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus with metabolic syndrome. Degree of introduction: Scientific articles, communications, patent. Field of application: endocrinology, radiology. Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
