The object of the investigation - general requirements to mixed-feeds for wild fowl (especially pheasants, quack ducks, partridges etc) in connection with the increasing development of hunting farms and demand for their production. The aim of the work - to create the national standard of Ukraine for mixed-feeds for wild fowl, that is raised in hunting farms, instead of the State Standard 28460-90. It will be generalized demands for the quality of mixed-feeds and their components and perhaps the recommended recipes of making mixed-feeds for pheasants, quack ducks, partridges will be presented in the standard too. The application of the standard will allow to use present mixed-feeds rationally, to replace one component by other, i.e. to organize the full value feeding of rare and exotic birds (wild fowl) that are raised in hunting farms with the purpose of providing their high productivity when decreasing feed expenditures per production unit simultaneously.
