It is established, that hypoxia causes the increase in Ca2+ concentration in the nervous cells of rat hippocampus. The most effective agent of removal of hypoxic effect, there is blocking by means of pharmacological agents of the Ca2+-accumulating function of mitochondria and prevention influx of Ca2+ into a cell through the Ca2+ channels.
