Capturing ability of high-gradient ferromagnetic attachment (HGPA) with structured nickel coating has been studied. It has been shown that the capturing ability of the HGPA does not exceed that of the smooth cylinder at the saturation of the capturing process. Also it has been revealed that the deposition of the impurity particles at the peaks of the surface structure starts at much lower fields than at the surface of a smooth cylinder. It has been determined that the adhesion angle of the particles captured on a ferromagnetic sphere gradually decreases with beginning of the saturation of capturing process at the Hsat.
