Theoretical results of the study: the analysis of literature is produced; the priority directions of studies are determined. A significant quantity of archive materials is introduced in the scientific research. Practical value of the results: lectures in history of Ukraine, in Ukrainian ethnology, special course on the history of the national minorities of the Ukraine are developed. In a context of researches 14 student scientific works are prepared; there were delivered: 3 candidate theses; 2 doctorses; defended - 1 candidate theses; 2 doctor theses at the Faculty.
