The aim of study was to investigate immune disorder and insulin resistance (IR) in patients with DM2Т, MS. Results: Moderate leucocytosis as a result of the increased number of neutrophiles and monocytes, a decrease in the contents of blood CD20+-cell accompanying with the appearance of non-typical CD56+GGL and the changes in the ultrastructure of CD4+ and CD56+-cells that is evidence of the change in their functional state were observed. The levels of IL-16 were significantly increased in patients with MS, what show good correlation to the abdominal obese, and triglycerides. Patients with the combination of MS and DM2Т have the most pronounced IR. The revealed IR could contribute to high risk of atherosclerosis in subjects with DM2Т and MS. Leptin increase was determined in normo- and hyperglycaemic patients with obesity comparing to hyper- and normoglycaemic patients without obesity. It was concluded that leptin secretion was dependent on the total mass and comparative fat contents in the organism confirmed by the revealed correlation bindings between leptin level and anthropometric indices. The expressed IR concerning the healthy ones was simultaneously noted in normoglycemic patients with MS and obesity that point out the pathogenetic importance of IR in the development of MS and obesity.
