Twenty genes showed genomic changes in more than 40% of tumor samples investigated. Northern blot hybridization revealed decrease of expression level of GORASP1 and GNAI2 genes in ovarian adenocarcinomas compare to the tumor adjacent tissues. Using methylation-sensitive PCR we showed lack of the promoter methylation for GORASP1 gene in ovarian cancer that suggests the presence of deletions in this gene. Methylation status analysis of MYOD1 gene is regarded as marker of tumor malignancy, revealed promoter methylation for 3 out of 8 samples investigated. It has been determined by multiple MD simulation that the eEF1A1 variant of human translation elongation factor 1A shows increased reciprocal flexibility of structural domains I and II and a less average distance between the domains than the eEF1A2 variant, while the latter is characterized by increased non-correlated diffusive motions of the atoms within protein structural domains. The main correlated motions of both protein isoforms is the increase in proximity of domains I and II. Such a transition is reversible and the protein can adopt an "open" conformation again. Taking into account previous experimental data it may be suggested that the transition between "open" and "closed" conformations is essential for binding of tRNA and/or other biological ligands.
